Rubberised door handles are all cracked and perished. Lots of others have same problem, has anyone got any idea where we can get reasonable price replacements

Try to a scrapyard and take replacements or you can try to ebay. I suggest you to change them with marea's handles. They are made from solid plastic and not from rubber and they can be paint!

or you can use alfa 147(chrome) handles with slight modification see pic

I did this job a few years ago. It is fiddly, but the key is that you get the parts from a scrap yard car for only a few £. This means you get to carelessly rip the door panels etc off the scrapped car first, hence you learn how not to bugger your car when actually fitting the new handles.

The key is not to damage too many of the plastic gromits that attach on the end of the linking rods between your tinkering on the donor and recipient car. You need to be left with a full set. It's a patient job.

hey! im looking for the exact same thing.
I have looked on ebay and the other handles i can see are ones for bravo exc. HGT.. I thought all bravos are the same?! but at £25 per handle plus p&p is a bit dear? or would it be same from a breakers yard?

the handles from any bravo brava or marea will fit. it is best to fit marea handles because they last forever. at a scrapyard you're looking at £10 each if you remove them yourself.

i very recently changed the door handles on my brava to the ones off a marea, heres the difference:

best pic brava.jpg Best pic marea.jpg

the marea ones really are 1,000,000 times better!!!

I am so blatently doing that!

That looks 25,000,000 times betta

Also as a good tip....if you de-badge your Fiat, I found a hairdryer and WD40 works well:

1: Soak with WD40
2: Heat up
3: Peel Off
4: WD works the same as glue remover, works a treat and looks the part afta a bit of elbow grease :D

Rock on! :slayer:

I paint mines by myself and guess its not marea's but bravo brava plus they are going to last forever! I have them already a year and no problem with cracks or anything they just look great! Check below.
