Anyone changed a starter motor on a Brava before?!

Alongside putting on new brake pads yesterday (we gave up on the discs, they aint buding!) we were meant to fit a new starter motor...however, its tucked away at the very very back of the engine bay, under the power steering fluid resevoir etc etc. NOT a very handy place to locate it!

Anyone know how much hassle this is going to be to change? Starting early on it this evening, but it looks like we'll have to move half the engine to get to it!!!

I tried on my 1.2 and failed miserably. It was tucked right in behind the clutch which gave me no room to get my tools in there.

I gave up and took it to the garage

Ignore my post, a couple of axle stands and a very brave friend managed to solve the problem!

Exhausts next, then she'll almost be back to her old self again!
