Got my Brava valeted today, and everything was fine for ten minutes driving along, when I locked the car from the inside....

The stereo cut out! And I couldn't switch it on or off... Then when I got out of the car I realized the central locking had gone as well.

I nipped into my garage on the way home and he checked the fuses and conclused that none of them had gone, but rather than book it in, I was hoping there may be some ideas on here? Could it be the electrics are damp from the valet? Should i wait out? What else could it be?

Help please!

oh - forgot to mention - everything elese (wipers, lights, dash lights, lighter, leccy windows and leccy sunroof) are all working fine!

I will suggest you to check one more time more carefully the fuses. Check the users manual to see what fuse exactly is for radio and see if its blown (sometimes is not visible with bare eyes) and also check if in the same fuse is connected the central locking. Use a multimeter for measurements it will help you a lot.

I'd be amazed if it wern't the fuse. Try the 20Amp one 3rd one along in the top row. It does the stereo and the locking.
