Hello,

First excuse me for bad english, and of course probably stupig questions.

1. Problem
The heater cables in the rearscreen/window works badly. They heat a little bit, but here in North of Norway where there is allready snowing bad heating is not god. So if anyone know what can be wrong, please help me.

2. Problem
I bought som rear speakers for my car some while ago. But when i plug these ones to det cables that are where the rear speakers should be, there are no sound. Arent the cables wired all the way from the back to the radio/cd-player(bought new one) in front? Do I have to do som wiring?

3. Problem
Front seats heaters are working, but they starts when it suits them. It almost like that i cant have passenger sitting in the front passenger seat because they burn their asses of in the summer. Drivers seat havent worked for a year but works now after i changed the rear brake light at the baggage door.

Okey these are my main problems with the car. So if anyone got clues, please help. Any help will help me.

your english is good, i can understand you perfectly (y)

1. this can be caused by dirty contacts between the hatch and the car. if you open the boot you can see the contacts, clean them with sandpaper on the car and the hatch so they are shiny copper. if this doesnt help then also check that the earth in the boot is a good clean connection.

2. if the speaker wires you are using in the rear are the original fiat wires then they will definaltely be connected to your radio unless someone has cut the wires. check the fader setting on your radio, it may be faded to front speakers only.

3. if the red LED is illuminating on the front seat and the heater doesnt work then the fault is inside the seat.

To Jug!

What do you mean about "check that the earth in the boot is a good clean connection."?

About the speaker wires I think they are original, because, the standard radio was installed when I bought the car.

OK very helpfull this, I will go out in the snow and try.

PS: Im very glad I next week will order me a new car:D

Well after I have read the Bravo/a Service Manual I have found out that the Wiring from rear speakers not are availble in the Dashboard, anyone that nows where their front end lie? Because there are wires back but dont know how far they go in front.

the best thing to do is reomve your radio and then disconnect the speaker wire connector. if it has 4 wires then the rear wires are not there, if it has 8 wires then the rear wires are installed. next you should test the wires by checking for continuity with a multimeter from the connector behind the radio to the speaker connectors at the back of the car. there are 4 wires to test.

there is a main earth point in the boot, it is a bolt that has a wire attached. if it gets rusty you can have many strange electrical problems, such as the rear wiper, demister and lights not working correctly.

About the radio I know that in a lot of models that dont have rear speakers, FIAT puts an adapter which makes the 4 way outputs to 2 way outputs which makes the sound level higher! (I think they are crossing the 2X2 way). If you pull the radio out and see behind, you will find it. Remove it and fit the connector with the cables straight ahead to the unit. After that you will have also sound to the rear speakers! ;)
