hi just got one of these cars couple of days ago.. i only have one key can anyone tell me how easy it its to make a duplicate key for spare and ruffly how much? thanks in advance.

cry... i only got a blue key with the car... so thats me stumped, anyone know how long the key battery will last? and also will a car battery disconect reset the brain?

timpsons can copy a blue key for £20.

if your key has a remote they cant give you a new remote, only a normal key that will work the locks and start the engine.

get a copy made asap, if you lose your only key you'll be kicking yourself for a long time, and i wont have any sympathy

the remote's battery should last approx 5-10 years depending on use.

if you disocnnect the battery there is a small chance the blue key codes will be lost by the codebox, same thing can happen if a fuse blows or if there's a wiring short. its very rare, and there are ways round it so dont worry.
