At first i found out that the ignition barrel was not working bu that was just a lose wire that has been repaired

BUT the ignition barrel has been fixed by the previous owner and flat dont seem to be anyhelp so the red key does not fit in my ignition barrel
Do i need the red key to get the car started again as it seems as if the petrol has been cut off or dont i need it plz some1 help!!!

as custard says, the answer to your question is the orange key code light on the dash. when you switch the ignition on the light should come on then go off after a few seconds. if it stays on it means the immobiliser is staying on, so your fuel pump wont work.

if the code light is staying on the most ocmmon causes are:
-aerial around ignition barrel is faulty or its connector is loose
-codebox (near interior fusebox) is faulty or its connectors are loose
-immob ecu is faulty or its connector is loose
-immob ecu is not getting power (blown fuse, rusty fuse terminals, damaged wire)
-codebox has lost blue key codes and need to be taight them using the red key (can happen if battery left disconnected for some time or when certain electrical faults happen, such as when several fuses blow at once)

so what should you do? well the first thing to do is find out if your red key is actually the correct red key for your car. it is possible that the ignition barrel was changed but the codebox was not, that would explain why your red key doesnt fit in the ignition barrel.

if you remove the chip from the blue key and replace it with the chip from the red key you cna then use your blue key as if it was the red one. then you can see if the code light goes off. if it does you can use your red key to teach the codebox your blue key codes (if this is the case ask and i'll tell you how to do it).

if you swap the chips over and the key code light remains lit it means there is another fault or the red key chip is not the correct one for your car. if that is the case its time to check the connectors on the immob system components (immmob ecu, codebox & aerial)
