Question Electric Windows?

Does anyone know if the wires are already there on a R reg bravo for me to just get the motors and stuff to fit electric windows?

Could anyone also tell me exactly what i would need to do this and how difficult it is?

Thanks LB.

Re: Electric Windows?

i think the wiring loom should be there.

assuming the wiring is there, you'll need the switches, motors & the relay/control unit (behind glovebox), plus you need to stick a fuse in the fusebox to power the circuit.

cant think of anything else at the moment.

Re: Electric Windows?

Take your door cards off.

On the drivers side if the loom is there you will see two plugs. 1 black, one white one not plugged in to anything. and just one one plug on the passenger side.

I think you will need new door cards aswell out of the SX to mount the switches, because the S has got no where for the switches to go to.

Re: Electric Windows?

hiya, there seems to be two relays behind the glove compartment, 1 red and 1 black, which one controls the windows?, my windows have stopped working, the motors seem fine, the fuse is fine, could the relay be blown?
