hi basically ive changed my steering rack on my fiat bravo and the track rod ends are spinning whilst im trying to tighten the nut(the end of it that goes in to the hub)what i can see it is a ball joint,
i was wondering how to stop this spinning so i can tighten it ???? cheweers lei add me on msn messenger if u have [email protected]

you need a windy gun, or you can also use an impact wrench (the 12v cig lighter powered ones will do).

take the nut off and clean the taper with thinners! this always happens if you have any grease or alike on the taper! once cleaned and left the thinners to evaporate push the track rod end back in and give it a tap with a hammer then the nut should screw on nicely!
