audio wiring

hi is the wiring to radio cassette not standard wiring ? i'm sure i seen somewhere it said the permanent and the switched live was wrong way round is this correct

All depends on your actual aftermarket radio. For Sont it will need switching but Sony allow for whis with interchangeable bullet connectors on their wiring.

Had to do the change over on my Kenwood as well. Same with a Goodmans that I tried to see what happens

Same with pioneer ... but as wimmy said can easily be changed by bullet connectors on the loom..

I had my sony cd player installed by a profesional (luckily it came with the cost of the purchase) and i still had to change the wires over! The instructions gave me 3 different ways of wiring it with the bullet connectors, i tried one way, and it blew a fuse in the fuse box but the last way, worked perfectly!
