Funny question but want to check before I go ahead and screw the job up:

Am sticking a model badge back on my car (previous owner removed it) and wondered whether the turtle wax applied a few weeks ago would possibly interfere with the adhesion?

And what to do if it does?

If the polish is any good, and being Turtle Wax it should be, then the badge will not stick for long. You'll need to wipe the badge area thoroughly with white spirit to remove the wax. When the paint feels grippy to your fingers, then the badge will stick. You can polish around it later.
