interior parts....smoothing

as you know interior parts are covered in that minging 'grain' finish. to make them smooth is it just a case of a thin layer of p38 to get rid of it?

Re: interior parts....smoothing

you could maybe use a filler primer, give it lots of coats then wet n dry it.
using p35 would be a bitch to get in all the nooks and crannys.

Re: interior parts....smoothing

There are plastic paints available but as Cinqtimmy said you need to prime & rub down. Can you get a secondhand dash/interior to try it out on & if OK swop over & sell your original interior?
