Last night someone smashed the hell out of my passenger side wing mirror, bent the unit back, ripped the back off, then threw all the bits all over the road.

Thankfully, they didn't manage to wrestle it off the car, and the wiring is still working for the motorised side of it, but is a mirror and back easily clippable on? I guess Ebay is where to go, but need to know precisely which one to get.

It's a 1.2 2008 '08' Fiat Punto Active, and the penultimate picture shows the label inside, hoping that helps.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Dom,

AFAIK any punto, evo or GP mirror glass will fit,
just beware of profile ( convex, etc,) and any TINT

Charlie

Thanks Charlie. What's the issue with them being convex? I am a newbie to buying specifics on these, so don't know about the different types. Previously, I bought a driver's side wing mirror for an older Punto, but I was able to fix that all together from the inside.

I just saw one that's listed as wide-angle, so that'd be a plus.

Also, can a new back casing fit on quite easily? Ta.

Hi,
sounds like yours is/was FLAT,
a curved one will give "wide angle",

check for a tint too,
as it'll bug you if they are different

AFAIK all the "covers" just clip into place,
ask in the GP section, loads of theirs will have been toyed with by now..,
