Re: what compressor for a hvlp gun

looking at
380121507273

Air consumption: 9.5 - 14.8cfm

so it might but if increase volume it will struggle

on another

FLUID NOZZLE (mm) ………0.6mm

RATED AIR PRESSURE ……MAX 55PSI (4.0BAR)

AIR CONSUMPTION (cfm) ………2.5CFM (71Lt/Min)

CAPACITY OF STAINLESS STEEL CUP (ml) ………200

FEED TYPE ………. GRAVITY
AIR INLET ……….1/4”

MAX.PATTERN WIDTH OF FAN SHAPED … 150 mm

you need to know what specs are on the gun dave. the other gun the compressor will piss it

also dave whare are you placing this compressor?
you do know a recipricating compressor could be noisy? and in a comfined space harmfull

Re: what compressor for a hvlp gun

gun
Air Consumption : ................................ 9.5 CFM
Air Inlet Connector : ............................. ¼”BSP
Nozzle : .................................................. 1.4mm

Operating Pressure : ............................ 20 - 43 PSI

cant you choose a compressor with figures?

what you want is a compressor with a highish Cfm lets go for 15 for a 100 liter tank
i think that will charge quite qucikly then and shut down

and a top opperating pressure of 40 psi and a lower of 25psi

but that may lead to unconsistant spraying but you want somthing simular

you need figures for this its all comon sence

ask for figures on that plate

Re: what compressor for a hvlp gun

will work with a regulator
will put a tenner on it if not

may need some sort of condensor to stop moisture in the gun

regulator reduces pressure correct?

think one your looking at price will go to about 150 from machine mart specs
