Peeling front bumper

Hi
My seicento SX in red has a peeling front bumper. By this i mean that the laquer is coming off the bumper and bubbling and can be easily scraped (lacking in pictures because it is dark). Would it be easier to rub down the bumper and re-laquer it, or wait of a breaking Sx in the same colour and just buy a new bumper. I was also thinking about spraying the whole bumper red including the black grille.

many thanks

Rory.

Re: Peeling front bumper

normally paint starts to peel of bumpers because they have not been promoted well before painting so in my opinion it would be best to have it all taken off and start again however i have not seen the pictures so could just be crappy lacquer that has been used.

show us some pics and il give a better answer,

oh btw we share the same name

Re: Peeling front bumper

I'll try to get some decent pictures once it has stopped raining caus it means you cant really see the peeling. If it's gonna be a case of rubbing down/re-spraying i may not bother and just find one from a scrappy or ebay, which is the same colour.

Re: Peeling front bumper

Hi
Got some piccys of the bumper for some one who knows what their looking at to advise me . Also some cars down the road had their wing mirrors smashed off and they appear to have had a go at mine and missed...twice. Some cretin also put a dent in the boot at well very annoyed about it. Especially as it is my 1st car! So i was wondering how difficult it would be to have the dents pulled out and how much i would cost to get pulled out?
