172 exhaust

hi guys, my friend has a clio sport 172 and i love the sound the exhaust makes, i wana keep a hidden exhaust so thats y i like it..would it be posible to fit a clios exhaust to my mk2b or if not is there any exhausts available which are hiddden but improve the sound? thanks, sam

You should be able to get a custom exhaust made. Probably cheaper that buying the oem RS Clio 172 exhaust, which probably would not fit with out considerable modifications anyway.

Its not just the exhaust that makes the sound, bear in mind he's got a 2.0 engine in there aswell which will sound different to yours. You may aswell get one custom made as I doubt a clio 172 exhaust would fit your mk2b.

thanks for the help and advice..do you have any idea on how much a custom one would cost..i know its gona vary but if any ones had one made it would be nice to have a rough figure...thanks again, sam

A custom made made backbox can eb anything up to £200. A full system for example fromt he cat back can be anything from 180 - 300 as a rough figure. If sound is what you are after then a full system is where its at.

If you want really nice sound and performance then grab yourself a supersprint system with a manifold. But these are expensive.

i haven't yet,
i dont know what one to get?
i keep asking everyone on the stilo section if i should get 1.2 box or 1.6.
coz i dont no which one fits! no-one wants to help
ive got money waiting..seeing as i got my bonus today lol

everyone helpd by saying 1.2 fitted and 1.6 fitted. but they havent advised which one would be best
