De-locking

Hi anyone in the south west or more specifically the devon area who'd be prepared to do some work on the lock on my sei, want to de-lock just the passenger side as some toe-rags have had the lock out and left a bit of a jagged hole

Need to go down the plating and filling and smoothing route but and dismally un-mechanically minded

Its a fairly small job (says he who doesn't know what he's talking about!!) but I want to make the car secure

Hey, you don't ask you don't get!!

Re: De-locking

any local bodyshop will be able to de-lock the door for you. make sure that they weld a plate in and not glue one to the back and fill it. if you wanted i could do it for you but would be very inconvenient for you as you are so far away.

pop to your local shops or if you wanted i could write a guide for you but i would only recomend it if you have a bit of welding and painting experience

Re: De-locking

Thanks for the offer but yep, the distance is a bit of a killer on that one!

Something I always wished I could do is welding, bit like plastering

I'm going to have to make some phone calls any way as I might want a bit done in the boot too - just worried about the cars security at the moment seeing as yellow insulation tape isn't the best form of defense!!

Cheers
Benjo
