Totally agree with that.

I'm from Bradford too. Out of interest, which body shop quoted you that price?

Wasn't Enkhanz by any chance was it? I know they tend to get a bit filler happy now and then.

It was the one on Farnham road in BD7 (round the corner from Mumtaz)

Enkhans quoted me £350 but that included a few other bits and bops...
They do a great job, i crashed an hired car once and they did a great job
What is it that you drive?

I don't think I'd use them again. Seen as I've got a paint dribble and cracked side skirt thanks to thier handywork.

I've seen them do a good job before... but that seems to be less and less these days!

oh, and btw I would have replied earlier but I lost the thread

They have been doing that Corsa for months, just like most of the projects in that place, it'll take forever to get finished.

Last time I was there they had some Polish lads in there, getting paid almost shag all for a whole days hard work.

I'm up Quuensbury area these days.

Angry Re: Filler and piant

Hiya all

I've given my car to enkhanz and to be honest they have ad it for 10 days now only stripped it down.

the keep telling me lies after lies and i'm sick of tired of it.

their customer services stinks and i've been told my back panel will be replaced. from what i have seen today it appears some likes to be filler happy.

they qouted me for a new rear panel but I know for a fact that its all filler as i sneaked in to check on the progress.

I TRULY regret giving my car to them and in my opionion they are a bunch of cowboys

They say one thing and do another.

STAY WELL CLEAR from them...

Re: Filler and piant

Shame I read this now, I would have recomended a good panel beaters in Pontefract, very good and happy for you to see process etc. no hidden extras.

Get your magnet out when you pick up the car that way you can see how much of filler to new panel they have done. And argue the toss with the buggers

Don't pay then. I wouldn't.

Go with a couple of mates to collect it if you're scared. Most places will intimidate you and bully you into paying for it, you didn't ask for it to be done like that so you don't pay. Just like if you weren't happy with the quality you wouldn't pay either.

Re: Filler and piant

Townman, is it Nav your dealing with? He's usually pretty reasonable but generally full of ****.

When you go to get the car, like has been said, take a magnet with you, or give the panel a few taps and see what it sounds like.

They say one thing and do another.
I know exactly what you mean mate.

Shame really, no dcent bodyshops in this area now
