I have 15" alloys on my punto mk1, and want to fit flush fit valves. I have asked several places if they will fit and everyone seems to tell me something different. Some say yes, some say no, some say they dont know but can try.
Can anyone please let me know if these flush fit valves will fit on my alloys.
Thanks
Werner

Pictures are now uploaded. Had some trouble with them, hope this helps. If any more photo's are required from diff angle just let me know.
Thanks

Yeah thats what a few people have told me. Just wanted to make sure, coz I want them on, but no point in paying someone to try and fit them when they wont.

they may well fit, i have them on my wheels (lenso evo 2's) and they are on and angled part of the lip, ill try and find a pic to show you

my only word of warning is that ive had 2 collapse on me while driving, and while going in a straight line isnt an issue, when you go around a corner you change the pressure and the air escapes, and quickly.... ive ended up in a serious mess (my underware) when the rear end just completley ditched it on me, managed to catch it just, but with someone with slower reactions and less driving experienece etc it could have been very nasty

So basically they may fit, but because they will not sit level and true, air will escape?
Is the air def escaping due to the valves, and the angle they are sitting at?
If you could find pic's that would be great.
Thanks

no the air doesnt escape because they dont sit right, Patch has been sat on the drive for 2 months now and its sweet, tyre pressure is pretty much as was, the probllem is with the vvalves actually snapping in half...

ill dig some pics up (y)

So basically you are saying that If I have them fitted, they are almost certainly gona snap of?

its not a certaintity by all means, i know ive been relatively unlucky and theres not too many reports of this happening but ive had a bad experience, but i still use them now, not had an issue in a year or so now

i think you may have a bit more of a problem though as the valves will not be mounted on a flat area of the wheel looking at it, so some fitters may not even do it, others may but wont guarantee anything etc...

Thank you very much for the advice. From your experience then, would you say its best to not fit them?? From looking at your alloys, you seem to have a nearly flat surface, where mine as you can see is VERY much slanted.
Thanks again
Werner
