Hi, I’ve recently bought a 2015 Abarth 595 with Blue and Me.

I'm having problems with the USB port, it wont recognise my USB drives. It just cycles through the options like there's nothing connected. The drives with lights on them are flashing so there is power. I’ve tried various USB drives, USB 3.0/2.0 and of varying memory sizes, all have been formatted to FAT32 and only have mp3 files on them. I've tried a 16gb drive with only one mp3 file on it because I read that suggested but still no luck.

:bang: Any ideas?

Try something tiny like a 4gb .. i had the same thing while trying to use a stubby usb stick ... But that was massive, so i kept trying smaller ones, a 4 eventually worked, I've now got a stubby 16gb i got from asda for £10.. sandisk. It really didn't like kingston sticks.

Also make try stripping tags off ya mp3s, my tipo just ignored some mp3s till i got rid of its random tags ..

Thanks, I'll buy a 4gb and see if I can get that to work, it's sooooo frustrating.

I've got it working :D I did two things and I'm not sure which worked or if it was a combination but... I took the fuse out (and put it back in) and I then used voice command to tell it to automatically read from the USB.

It's working with all the USB sticks that I've tested it with including a 64gb bluetooth 3 sandisk cruzer (which is a really neat fit). Now I need to figure out how to read from folders instead of it just playing random tracks.

I'm also having problems with my USB, i have a SanDisk 64GB, the USB worked fine one day and now not at all.

I have disconnected the battery for 30 minutes, i have tried using the voice command which tells me no media found, when i press the media button it says no source available.

I have downloaded the B&M update onto my USB but when i plug my USB in it doesn't even recognize that the USB is inserted. I'm now at the end of my tether with it.

I don't know whether to try the fuse next? failing this, it may be a visit to main dealer which i'm aware could be costly

Definitely try the fuse, it's easy enough to do and it worked for me.

Do you which fuse box it is in and what fuse number? I have checked the manual and the closest I have is "hi-fi sound system with control unit and subwoofer" Fuse 09 - 20 amps

Or the other is "socket (ready for use)" fuse 85, "amps - "

Hi, in my car the fuse box was located under the steering wheel, I found it in the manual (although the diagram is actually upside down!).

For my car (2015 Abarth 595) it was:
F51 - 7.5 radio, blue&me, climate control, brake lights, clutch

To be sure I was taking the correct one out I checked that it was a 7.5 amp. There's a yellow clip that you pull out which you use to remove the fuse.

This might help: http://www.autogenius.info/abarth-500-form-2008-fuse-box-diagram/

Just found this thread that might help too (as my car is a LH drive and I'm presuming yours is a RHD):

I've managed to sort it and you'll laugh!

So I have a 64GB Sandisk and I'm running windows 10 which only allows you to format to NTFS or exFAT.

Blue and me has to run a USB formatted to FAT32 which can only be done on windows 7 or less. So I had to download a program that allows you to format to FAT32, loaded a song onto my USB and plugged it into the car and like magic we have life! It works again!

Yay! I'm just glad you got it working! :) I'm feeling smug because I've figured out how to read the folders on my USB.
