Hi everyone,

I have a 2009 Grande Punto T-Jet and the white blue & me adapter. I've been trying for months to get things to work properly after reluctantly paying out £50 for the adapter.

I have been through all of the normal processes, ie. updating firmware (currently on 5.6), disconnecting the battery etc although nothing will allow me to consistently play music from my iPhone 5 via blue & me. (And any other phone, I've tried a galaxy s4, lumina 720, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s - all the same as my 5)

Normally, if the iPhone is plugged in when the car starts, music will play as normal from the phone for anything between 10 seconds and 2-3 minutes, before spontaneously switching back to the radio. (Normally, the longer the car has been switched off, the longer it will play for. If I turn the car off and on again straight away, it plays for 5-10 seconds at best.)

On Thursday I have arranged to meet up with a friend who has a 2009 Grande Punto Eleganza, hopefully I will be able to find the source of the problem by experimenting with his car.

So just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to why it is acting like this? Or anyone experiencing similar issues?

Just a few more things to add:

I have the flashing mileage issue, even after many battery disconnections, proxy alignment maybe?

I am using the standard Apple cable

Running on iOS 7.1.1
