Blue and Me has died slowly over the past couple of weeks!
Got my 500 back in July. Although I've never been able to get my phone to connect properly, my iPod (4Gb mini (yeah the really old one)) has always worked OK...until now.
Three main problems:
1 - When it was working - it would start up, but it would always be on the same song! Every day! It would be alright once I selected an album or chose "random" but on start-up, it was always the same tune!
2 - A couple of weeks ago, it started to throw a wobbly when it came to skipping a song. It would let me skip about 1 or 2 tracks, but after the 3rd one, it would just die. The track name would be displayed, but no music would play. If I disconnected it, it would work again, but the same problem would occur when I skipped again.
3 - Last week, it just died completely. Now when I plug it in, nothing plays. The track names appear, but no music plays. Also, the woman has stopped speaking for all commands. I've checked my external volume, and that is up about 16. The radio works fine, just not for the media player.
Any ideas folks?! I'd take a trip up to the dealership, but I dont think they'd be pleased to see me, as I've already complained to them about getting my spare key sent to me (still no key, 3 months after buying the car!!!)
