I've searched the internet for a better price than the RRP on the Blue&Me Tomtom unit for the Evo and cannot find it cheaper than the RRP, even on eBay. I've recently ordered a new Punto Evo Eleganza (over £14ks worth) and my dealer refuse to do a deal on the price of the unit despite being a highly loyal customer of theirs for several years.

Does anyone have a source of obtaining an official UK spec one for a good price please?

I'm affraid I dont see the connection between why being a loyal customer gives you the right to demand money off extra's for your car?,I assume you are happy with the service your dealer offers or you would of purchased your cars elswhere,I would just ensure you carry on getting good aftersales service etc and spend the money having the B&M Tom Tom fitted pre delivery.

I haven't demanded anything off the extras. I've simply asked a question, both to my dealer and on this forum. My car salesman wanted to give me a discount (to quote him 'to reward my loyalty' - his words not mine) but his boss wouldn't let him so all I am doing is looking elsewhere as I am aware some people have been able to get a better price. If I can get it cheaper elsewhere I'd be stupid not to.

Thanks for the advice.

There is not "I have the right" to demand a discount, but a good salesman/dealership will keep there loyal customers loyal, if that costs them an extra few quid then so be it.

It's a general courtesy weather its car sales or bucket sales.

But back on subject, i've not found it cheaper anywhere tbh, seems to only be available via Fiat so Fiat have a bottleneck on the pricing.
But on defence of you not being able to get anything knocked off, its just down to it being a new product, the Evo itself is pretty hard to get a decent deal on right now and the TomTom is regarded in the same way, not to mention, there seems to be slight issues from person to person so maybe there waiting to get all the little niggles ironed out before unleashing them on the masses in good deals etc.

Just thought I'd check if theres any update on this. Collecting my car next week. Has anyone managed to get a discount from their dealer?

Can be had for around £250 via Fiat-Accessories but by no means a bargain, Im in same position myself going to see how the iPhone works before i take the plunge
There’s no way I’d be paying anything like £250 for a Satnav, especially considering my last “Top of the range” Navman tried to direct me into the River Tay… think it had it in for me!
