Hey all

My Blue&Me adapter arived today!! Shame about that damn price

Anyway, I went out to my 09 Grande Punto 1.4 GP, and plugged the Adapter, followed by my iPod lead then my iPhone. I got the sound from my iPhone saying it connected (and the little icon on the battery) but then after 1 second the icon dissapeared and the iPod was no longer connected

Anyone know why this is? I'm kind of pissed paying 70 odd quid and it not working.

Hi Kria, welcome to the forum.

Where did you get your adaptor from? They should have also told you (and the manual says) that you need to update your B&M from the download on the italian fiat site (or UK if you can wait till next century)

PS Make sure that you unzip it and place it on a clean usb drive. pop this into your B&M slot and wait until she says "Update Complete, please remove USB stick" after this start and stop the power to the car and pop your adaptor in.

Next up unlock your iPhone, and plug this into the adaptor.

So in short

1. Read the Top link
2. Download the update
3. Unzip to memory stick
4. Insert in car and turn key to "MAR"
5. Let her update.
6. After "Update Complete, remove USB" turn key to "OFF"
7. Turn key to "MAR" or start engine.
8. Plug in adaptor & Lead.
9. Unlock iPhone and connect.
10. Phew ENJOY!!!!!!!!

PS Don't forget to chuck some pics and stuff about your car into Members Motors, and come into the GP section

I formated my memory stick, unzipped and inserted the folder 5.4.09 update package, then inseted the memory stick into the usb device in the car, turned the key to the correct positon.. nothing happened.. waited about 10mins in the car, but nothing happened. USB stick usualy flashes when its in use... any ideas? should I take all the files out of the folder and just put them on the usb stck?

YES!
All files need to be in the root of the drive as B&M scans for the update inf file there only.

Currently need Some help Just purchased a Fiat punto Evo pre 60 reg. If i buy the Blue&me Adapter will this allow me to play music through 3rd party sources such as youtube soundcloud spotify ? any help would be appreciated.???
