Hi,
I have bought the bespoke Sat Nav system for my car, which initially looks great as it just plugs into a port on the dash - no unsightly wires etc.
However, the system seems rather poor at navigating - it is slow, inaccurate and generally clunky.
Is there any other make that will just plug into the port on the dash? Also, I have never used another Sat Nav, so is it actually any worse than say, the latest average Tom Tom?
Is there a new, updated B&Me Sat Nav on the horizon - this one seems quite old in the technology stakes.
Thanks

I don't have the most experience using either Blue&Me Map or TomTom's, but I have enough for me to decide that TomTom offers more functionality than Blue&Me Map. Larger screen, more general options and connecticity. Nothing against Blue&Me Map... but they waited too long to develop it and bring it to market... now its been passed up by almost every other top-of-the-line device from TomTom, Garmin, etc.

Unfortunately, the mount for the Blue&Me Map system was created for that device alone. To my knowledge, there is no other way to connect another PND to that mount. Best you can do is use it just any other PND and plug it onto the windshield and into the 12V socket.
