HELP updated phone list

Hi, I've used the updated lists to purchase a new Nokia this December after picking up my brand new 500c. I really want to be able to use the message reader as well as for calls and to download my phonebook. I've changed my Nokia twice already, but o2 say only one more exchange! I'm a Nokia addict but I'm doubting if any Nokias work for ALL the facilities I want. Can anyone tell me what phones actually work for ALL Bluetooth features and are as easy to use as Nokias PLUS they have to be under £180. Please help I have 3 more days to return my current phone so any speedy help would be much appreciated. Thanks and Happy New Year

I have recently got a t-mobile G2 touch (which is basically a HTC Hero).
It will pair with blue and me but not connect. Has anyone conquered this? Thanks

Hi, am new to this and have already asked everybody's advice in another area, am floundering completely now, as arre the guys at my dealership. have a new 500c fitted with blue and me and my Nokia 8800 (which is an arte e-1) does not appear to be compatible witht he message reader function, which I really would like to be able to use. The dealership have suggested that as it is an e-1 and not just an 8800, it must therefore be incompatible and yet, the nokia website does not seem to indicate that the e-1 is anything other than an 8800.... please help, anyone!:bang:

I'm afraid that the message reader will not work whatever you do to it,I dont know of one Nokia that works with the message reader,if this is the function you really want then buy a Sony Ericsson as they are the most compatible with B&M.

It is down to what bluetooth protocols and profiles are installed on the phone. For handsfree on Nokia's they are set to make/take calls but nothing else. On Sony Ericsson's they do everything (SE developed Bluetooth so it makes sense they do have all protocols and profiles).

Vast majority of Nokia's do not work with message reader - some older models do but older as in 4+ years...

due to the phone list takes forever to update, does anyone know if the HTC Tattoo works with the car!

my SE worked great until it took a dip!

Has anybody tested any Android Phone with Blue & ME ???

I have used a HTC Hero with blue and me.
It has basic support, it doesn't use the phones ring tone or display the incoming phone number.
Phonebook works fine.
It may improve with android 2.1 which has support for more bluetooth profiles.

My new phone should arrive today ... wonder what the chances of it working are on my 09 GP, as it ain't listed !
Nokia 5230 will be tested soon !

Well it worked but was a bit flakey, so updated the blue and me firmware and all is fine, it even let me manually transfer my contacts list :D

The later Symbian smartphones (Nokia N97/5800, SE Satio etc) will work better with B&M as long as you're running the latest Fiat firmware (v5.4 iirc) as it adds more compatibility with the new smartphones on the market. A further fix is available for SE devices which is not required for other makes. The only bit that doesn't work for the Nokia handsets (as posted earlier) is the message reader, but everything else will work a treat.

I've seen mention that the LG Cookie doesnt really work with Blue & Me.
BUt I wanted to feedback that mines has been working well and has only suffered the odd reboot on connection, maybe 3 times so far but otherwise everything works as it should.

This might be due to a newer firmware that LG made available as I updated mines at the start of the year.

Has anyone got the sms reader to work on their blackberry? I realise that it says not supported on the fiat site but was wondering if there was any patches / fixes?

Thanks.
