Sorry if my questions have been asked in the past (only joined forum today!).

My wife has a new Fiat 500 (great car!), and we are struggling with the Blue and Me - I have managed to get songs that I put on a USB stick to play - but every song ends about half way through the track!!!
I have a spare iPod Nano 2Gb, would that be a better solution (and will it charge from the USB connection)?

Any help would be gratefully recieved!

Sounds like you need a system reset, you can remove the fuse, but honestly i would go back to the dealer and explain what has happened, because there is a software update for certain software version's.

Removing the fuse will only be a temp fix.

I've just got a new problem with my media player. Each mp3 on any of the sticks (and they have all been working OK previously) keeps repeating itself instead of moving to the next track when it has ended.
You can still change the tracks manually via the steering wheel up & down buttons but as it was OK previously I'm wondering what has happened to change this,

Disconnected battery and after accidently changing the language to German whilst resetting time and date found that it is still doing the same.

Tried differing settings in the MP menu such as, folders,files artists etc. but nothing alters.

Can't see it being an update problem because of it's previous good behaviour.

One other thing, I can't change tracks in media player using the up & down buttons on the radio but these work OK with CDs so is this normal?

The most likely explaination for this is a software issue! or the convergence unit has given up the ghost. but honestly all you guys and girls that are having problems need to give as much info as possible to the dealers.

There are currently four different software updates running dependant on your software version. however if your system does not require a software update then it call's for fiat technical to get involved and the more cases that are logged the better.

I trust that people are not pluggin and un-pluggin mem stick's with the ignition on, because thats another great way to get the system going loopy. its gets confused with the old data and the new data. note this does not happen all time. but randomly you will lose certain functions etc. just something to keep in mind.

disconnect the battery for for a few seconds, fixed my problem where blue and me wouldnt take voice commands and wouldnt skip to next tracks, its microsoft based so its bound to have problems!

"Repeat number" is a regular feature of Blue&Me.

You can disable it from the Menu

Using Settings/Mediaplayer/Repeat number/Off

Look in the Blue&Me manual/pdf for details.
