Panda 100hp Bluetooth

So. I've just picked my 2007 Panda 100hp and have been playing with the bluetooth. Despite being unable to find any reference to it in the telephone directory thick handbook, I managed to pair the car with my Nokia 6500 easy. I can receive calls no problem and the handsfree is crystal clear.

I was just wondering what else the system can do. I've downloaded the guides about Blue&Me in this section but it bears no resemblance to what is fitted to the 100hp.

Is the system just standard Bluetooth handsfree or what? Can I make calls? Can I have caller display? Can I download my phone book to the car?

Any Panda owners out there with any info?

AFAIK the bluetooth in the 100HP is just bluetooth and not Blue&Me.

Yes, as already stated, the 100HP does not have Blue and Me. Although my dealership did state it did have, and even gave me a brochure on it from the GP lol

I have found that if you dial while in the car it picks it up and goes handsfree so you can put the phone down and continue driving while you talk. Also when you've finished, if you hit the green phone button on the steering wheel, it redials the last number.

Sounds like the Bluetooth on the Pioneer head unit that I have. Although you can add numbers to the phonebook on the head unit I thought it somewhat pointless as I only ever call my g/f when I'm in the car. Perhaps you can do it on the 100hp? Perhaps someone can clarify

It's not mentioned in the main handbook, but there should be a "Bluetooth supplement" in the wallet where the handbook lives. It seems that us Nokia phone users only get the basic voice dial and hang up features, but the Sony Ericsson folks can upload a phone book and other natty things.

Finally got to the bottom of how the system works by obtaining a supplement that should have been in my book pack.

Seems that the system does support voice regognition but only through compatible handsets. You set your phone for voice dialling, press the green phone button on the steering wheel and listen for a beep. Once you get that you say the name you want to dial and the system dials it.

Trouble is my Nokia 6500 won't work with it You can set it for voice activation but it wont respond to the button press on the steering wheel. There is a list of compatible phones in the book but it is well out of date.

I might try contact Fiat to see if there is an up to date list
