Bloody Protected Music

Dear all

I am aware that Blue&Me does not play AAC etc or protected music. Yet what did I do but download a number of remixes from itunes the other day .

Obviously they did not allow me to convert to MP3.

However, I tried to out the files in a CD by just burning the tracks as I thougth my CD player would read them. No luck!

Does anyone know how I can play my legally purchased files in my car?

Thanks

Gus

Re: Bloody Protected Music

Surely the simplest idea would be to burn your purchases onto a CD and re-import them, then onto your iPod?
I think this means that you lose rights to the digital music that you have just bought, but I don;t do it so I wouldn;t know.

Re: Bloody Protected Music

How about bypassing Blue&Me completely and getting one of these fitted?

When u burned them to the CD did you make this a standard music CD format or just copy the ACC files to a disk?
If you burn them in standard CD format this removes the copy protection and allows them to be ripped back into your collection in mp3 format (ie not copy protected).

Use Alcohol 120% or Alcohol 52% to burn virtual CDs... will save time and money.

As said above, no need to burn - send it to the image recorder, then mount the image using Alcohol or Daemon Tools - then rip it from the virtual drive back to MP3 format

Re: Bloody Protected Music

Already posted this in another thread, but it's relevant to this one as well.

I downloaded Tunebite last night, and now all my downloaded iTunes tracks are in WMA format and play perfectly on Blue&Me
