Sony Ericsson W890i does NOT work with Blue & Me SMS reader.

Despite the Fiat links saying that the SW W890i works with SMS reader. For the life of me I cannot get it to work.

Am I doing something wrong?
Do I need to install something?
Is the Fiat website wrong?

Please help... I bought the phone on the premise that it worked perfectly with Blue & Me.

Well what are you actually doing? Have you followed the instruction & what is not working!

I believe I followed everything in the instructions
Everything else works fine. Can dial out, receive calls, etc
SMS Reader ( as per title ) does not work.

Any SMS messages received by the phone do not get sent over to the car.

Have you checked the 'settings' in the menu?

On the car.... Only menu options are USER DATA, PAIRING, UPDATES, MEDIA PLAYER, ADV FEATURES and EXIT.

EDIT - Yes - Followed the instructions on the link you gave me.
Blu & Me is Always allowed.


Firmware version is R1ED001.

There is a software update available from your dealer that might help.
