Well, firstly, hi, I'm Emma, 19 from notts.
I'd never really thought about learning to drive until i started Uni and was using the trains nearly everyday which i hate, and it made me think - do i really wanna use these to get to work everyday? And the trains probably won't even go anywhere near where i'll be.
Not to mention my Boyf, a proper petrol-head, constantly going on about cars to me and making me watch Top-gear - which i now watch of my own free-will but not as often as him lol.
So i sent off online for my provisional, and got it less than a week later! Had my first driving lesson on the 21st of Feb with CJL, who Tom wen with and passed 1st time. I was so nervous, my hands were all clammy, and i cou;dn't think what to do even though i'd been listening to Tom and my Driving Test success Dvd! Anyway, half an hour in i was driving very slowly round some road with mini roundabouts at each end, was well pleased!
My second lesson was much the same, just drove round a lot more in the same area.
The third lesson was really scary in a sense that i left my comfort zone - the quiet road for a busy one and jampacked with vehicles and busses - argh, but i managed it rather smoothly and came back with a big grin on my mush 
The fourth lesson i had to have it at night cos that's the only time he had spare that day, but it was nice and quiet, got used to gears bit more.
The 5th and 6th were my junction lessons, and i was dreading them because i hate stopping and starting in quick succession lol, managaed the 1st lesson without stalling! I find i break to sharply, even when i try to do it slowly grr!
The next lesson is this thurs, uphill starts i think, not too worried, just want more experiance now i've got the taste for it!
