Haynes don't do a manual for the Marea Weekend Estate as it is not economically viable.

Where can I get hold of such a manual / info for the Marea Weekend Estate? HAving just bought one it would be very useful!

I use the Haynes manual for the Bravo & Brava - since mine is a 1600 petrol, their 4-cyl petrol manual number 3572 is quite up to the job. A note inside the front page of that manual states "Covers major mechanical features of 1.6 and 1.8 litre Marea/Weekend models. Does not cover 2.0 litre (HGT) models, or Diesel engined versions." If you have a diesel or 5-cyl model, you should be looking for another manual, try Haynes' website at http://www.haynes.co.uk (my manual doesn't list one for diesel or 5-cyl Bravo/Brava).

Haynes don't do a manual, but there is one printed by Porters. I've not been able to get one yet, so I don't know how good they are.

I rang Delta Press about these manuals and they told me that the Marea one isn't available at the moment - it's being re-printed and may be available in mid-July !!

If anyone knows where to get one sooner than then, let me know.

I have a porter manual and a 20v ELX and i can quite honestly say that they are total and utter crap!

They answer everything you don't want to know and nothing you do. It is better than nothing but not a lot!

Try amazon or do a search.

Porter covers the weekend and diesel but not 20v petrol models.

The haynes has all you'll need for the weekend, unless you need to do something to the rear tailgate. the majority of parts are identical or similar, most of the jobs you'll need to do will be covered, and even if they aren't they'll give you a good idea
