My JTD ELX (110) has started showing an intermittent
electrical problem at startup.

About 20% of the time at startup a good proportion
of the electrics refuse to work for about a minute
(elec. window, dipped beams, sunroof). After they start
working everything is fine.

Other electrics (full beams, folding mirrors) work ok
even when the fault shows.

I'm holding out a trip to the garage to see if it
happens more regularly (I know they won't do anything
if the fault does not show)

Has anybody seen a similar behaviuor?

Never seen this on mine sorry..

Couple of things to check, earth straps to engine and body - not unknown for these to corrode and cause problems.
Fuses - missus has the car so I can't look to see if all the items you mention have a common fuse but a couple of posters have resolved issues by discovering bad connections in the fuse box.

Another thing to check is the date of the first post.......

pmsl, it was the very last one on the board and I couldn't help but reply seeing as it had been there for 9 years and no-one had replied to him.
