this is not good only bought the car a week ago and now kids from my estate have decided to draw on the hood of my car with rocks.

some bad scratches all over the hood - is there a coverup I can get for them the car is a 2002 punto active 1.2 red/wine color. or is there a wax I can apply that will fill the scratches?

it depends how deep the marks are, if theyre down to the metal t-cut wont be any good. you'll have to try a touch up stick from halfords but ive tried these and they dont really look good,

cant u claim on insurance for a respray??

Sound like you need to wire up 10kV to your Punto's body. Can't help with the paint though

Wolfrace punto is about right depends how deep they are and how many local bodyshop might be able to sort it out for u or respray just that pannel

If i were you id buy a hightech BB gun or a highpowered sling shot. Catch the little s**ts near your car let them have it . And I would advise against touch up stick they suck.

u could try a company like mr dent or scratch away, but then again its no guarantee it will look the same, just catch it before the rust does[xx(]

I've got the exact same prob with mine, a 4yr old decide to draw on my boot (zig zag shapes) - and its right into the metalwork [!] Im just hanging on till i can afford to get the boot resprayed!

I didnt catch the kid that did it - but I do know which one it was cuz I had seen him at another car the same day and told him to feck off

I cant exactly go to his parents and accuse without having caught him red handed I am in the middle of installing a motion activated webcam which I can use to record anyone going near my car.

But yes a shotgun to the head would be too good for the devil child.

You will need to know the exact color so u can match! this should be in ur log book or mine has a small plate inside the tailgate (looks like a vin plate) with the color name and a color code on it.

On the mk2 its under the bonnet.

You have to be carefull with buffing it because you could buff straight through the laquer and paint.

recoment a re-spray and blow in - unfortuantly.

Pay me 50 and traveling fees and i will air rifle the little chavs! :slayer:
