Hi folks, just got myself a Marea Weekend HLX 2.0 20v and was glad to find this forum. Really pleased with the car - loads of room, plenty of toys, nice engine (except for the cambelt change!). Just have one problem with the alarm/immobiliser though, when you unarm it by using the remote control on the the keyfob, the light on the dash below the radio stays on even after the alarm has been triggered. The manual says this is due to the battery being flat. I assume they mean the battery for the alarm siren, but I can't find where it is inside the engine compartment - has anyone out there played with the alarm system?

Thanks

The constant light indicates that the transmitter battery at the remote key is about to flat. It's not indicate weak battery for alarm siren. Change the batteries immediately & careful on the polarity of the batteries when U fix them.
Good Luck
