How easy is it to fit a manifold and de-cat to the cinq?

Because basically i'm interested in buying a Janspeed manifold which you can only fit if ur prepared to de-cat the car> which presents a problem when MOT time arrives.
Do u need any specific bits n' pieces when fitting the cat on again for MOT time??[V] I'm having a headache over this, my parents (my dad) really doesn't want me to do this, but i REALLY WANT to do it, coz i know it'll make the car fantastic.[V]

smooth binki, digging binki, waiting for headrub binki, running binki,

just 8 bolts to get the manifold off, and some elbow grease to seperate the std bits (cat to centre pipe can sometimes be a bit solid heh :p)

lambda sensor goes onto the decat section

Abarth Kitted Cinq Sporting, Sig coming soon ;)

Oh god...elbow grease?

I had to do up my flexi on the Grp N so it became rigid and twist like a bitch to get my front section off!!

Yeah. That was about 3 months after the Grp N centre went on!

The cat- centre pipe link had gone rock hard!!

http://www.forzatuning.com in the region of £70.

Before taking my word for it, listen to what ghost has to say about the centre section.

It helped the pull loads, but doesnt really sound of much....unless theres a 1242 at the other end...then its about 5 x louder and a damn sight deeper!

I'm going to be going from a oe centre pipe (curtosey of lora, thx hun :D) with janspeed backbox, to a grp n centre pipe with same janspeed backbox, (and then to janspeed manifold/decat on the front too) will report back here with findings, hope this centre pipe turns up sharpish lol :p

Right, afraid to say that the group n centre pipe is now discontinued, i got messed about a bit but at the end of the day its now discont, not one to be forced to go to standard, i spoke to a few people and worked out that powerflow was the way to get my non standard centre pipe, so just under £65 later, i have a stainless steel straight thru centre pipe, which when it was first fitted i didnt notice it as being that much louder, but now im almost well i am certain its louder :D still got hole in system somewhere though so will have a look today and get it filled and report back on performance difference :D

I think powerflow must get louder with use. Could be carbon deposits or something, because i'm convinced mine is louder now, and it should seem quieter as I get used to it?

i think my powerflow needed a touch of wearing in, when i first got it it wasnt too loud, but after blast down motorway im sure its louder lol, had to have music louder now than before too :p
