Re: Doc Orange Peel Barchetta project

Hey nice work Doc, engine bay is coming along at some rate of knots.
Wow that is a bit much for a sports cat, nearly the same as the manifold

DTR are now doing sports Cats. £229 + vat so still not cheap.

Re: Doc Orange Peel Barchetta project

As you know my ABS has been on the frits for a while now so I found a set of secondhand rear ABS sensors on http://www.Barchettaparts.com this morning for a load less then Fiat want to sell them for, so what the hell its time to fix that fault. If it turns out not to be the rear sensors then I have only blown £38 not £165.

Fingers crosed

Has anyone had any parts from them in the past?

Re: Doc Orange Peel Barchetta project

I bought a carpet for the boot from them a while ago. Very good service with quick delivery. It's a shame they don't accept card payments though.

Re: Doc Orange Peel Barchetta project

I recommend barchettaparts.com! Henk who is behind the site is a good guy. He drove my hardtop from Holland to Oslo on 2 days notice. (Ok, he was going to Norway on a holiday, but anyways..) I also bought some other stuff a few months ago. Great guy, great service. And cheap!

Re: Doc Orange Peel Barchetta project

One step forward and two steps back today The bumper and wheel arch trim is all back together and the car was almost ready for its MOT, well it was until I went to remove the rear drivers side shock to change the bump stop but as normal the bolt sheared clean off. I tried everything to get the bolt out but I now need a new ABS swing arm. I have looked around and I can pick one up for 60 euro so its not the end of the world but I need it ASAP.

Anyone got one?

Re: Doc Orange Peel Barchetta project

Walbro 255lph Fuel pump - Subaru Impreza 1994-2001

I think this is close to the same fuel pump upgrade that KC has not fitted to his B. £65 + £5 postage.
