Its easy to take out the lock from the door and give it a good oil. ![]() If you do find its stuffed I have seen a few on ebay for sale (see link below) http://cgi.ebay.fr/Fiat-Barchetta-Se...ayphotohosting Also check the yellow original central locking relay thats under the dash in the passenger side (Big yellow box) A replacment is cheep and you could upgrade to remote central locking like the one below . (£30 Ish) ![]() (link below) http://abacuscaralarms.co.uk/store/v...Meta%20M20 I have fitted this to my 1999 B and it takes two mins and works well :-) hope this helps Doc Orange Peel

I put some copper grease on all the moving parts and it worked fine after that. PPS You can get the remote's loads cheaper then £80 !! I have the same set and mine and it was £40 from eBay.

You just have to replace the yellow relay with the new remote one and thats it !!! You dont even need a screwdriver !!! If you dont have central locking then you will need to upgrade the locks in the doors as well as the door wiring. This is not that hard to do as its all just a simple swap and plug in.
