Hi Forum,
have you lost or broken those covers for the B-pillar on your B. Mine were not there when I bought mine so I found someone selling 'replacement - reinforced designed covers' here's a link to his Youtube video where you can see him fitting them.
he's put his ebay link at the end of the video.
Now I've got to find some replacement springs anybody got any source I could try?

Look in the link there you can buy those covers in aluminium so much stronger then the plastic ones and with the springs.

Hello my friends. I have created those covers from the original material so they can look like never been changed. I designed completly new connection points to make sure that the will never break again. It is all that we needed all those years. The same part but better. Interesting! My B only had one of its covers when I bought it, 10 years ago, but I found the other one earlier this summer when I dismantled the rear bulkhead to get at the fuel tank. it's an ill wind...

That happens a lot! Hehehe! Check if the connections of the covers are ok or broken before fitting them because if they are broken they are going to fly while closing the top.
