Hi - looking for some advice please?

I am changing the soft top on my 03 (facelift) Barchetta. The existing rubbers (the 3 that seal on the windows) seem ok to use on the new roof - does anyone have a guide on how to remove them without damage? Do they simply slide out or are they attached?

Would be grateful to have any input from anyone who has done this - any videos if available would be a bonus.

Many thanks.

Hi Uomodell'Italia,
I've never change the seals or roof but in the manual on page 57 it says they just slide out. I've just uploaded that section of the book to my server: http://langhe.property/70[1].Bodywork.pdf

Your avatar profile photos shows your car with a boot rack. Can I ask what type it is? I bought one, fairly old but in good condition, but the clamps are too fat to fit between the shut lines of the boot lid and body. Fiat started to use thicker steel in later years of production. But mine is a 2002 so should be similar to your car. Many thanks!!

Hi richit - sorry but the link does not work - can you check it?

The book rack I have is the original Fiat one. I put it on occasionally but do worry that it will mark the bodywork!

Am keeping it ready for the tour to Italy one day!

hi Uomodell'Italia
Sorry! My Internet is rubbish here in the Italian sticks. It was having trouble loading but I thought it was done. I'll check. The video looks very useful though.

Trip to Italy?? Shall we start a new thread on this? I would be very pleased to set things up and show some amazing routes around this area, the birth place of the Barchetta.

Thanks - video is useful - the rubbers do slip on but at the end the one nearest the windscreen is fixed with a rivet I think which is going to be a challenge!

Italian trip from the uk would be good - back to the factory tour? Perhaps best to leave until after 2017 as next year there is a trip around the Norwegian Fjords that I am interested in (is on the Fiat Barchetta Facebook page).

Thanks for your assistance.
