Hi Harv,
She is with me! Going strong, and awaiting some fettling. Just simple stuff as we plan to take her on holiday next year to Portugal. Discs, pads, shockers and rear springs. Looking to spruce up her leather seats and put carpets back in (No carpet or wind deflector when I bought her last August).
Embarrassingly, I have christened her Gina.
Cheers
Simon

Thanks Dave,
Speaking of fettling, I see that you have some uprated parts.
Do you have any suggestions for the bits I plan to replace. I am not a b...s out racer but suggestions, part numbers or stockists would be really helpful.

Sorry to say Simon I don't have any part numbers, I replaced all of the suspension components front and rear parts replaced was the rear trailing arms, front lower wishbones, rear shocks, front shocks, front and rear anti- roll bars used poliflex bushes on the front trailing arms, also replaced the upper bearings on the front shocks, couldnt find the complete housing Fiat no longer supply , however found this a few week after I fitted. http://www.autopartoo.com/oem/ina/f2240541.html Bought all this over about 3/4"years and fitted over 2014 winter. I shopped around on the net for the trailing arms and wishbones, Demon Tweeks for the shocks and springs, poliflex form Poland I think, ( have this info somewhere loads cheaper than UK) . The anti roll bars were a group buy from a Guy in France, Eibach don't make them now, but I could ask if your interested, but they are not cheap
Regarding the ride I lowered the car by 35mm just for the look really. Pleased with the ride car feels really smooth on good roads a pain on roads that are full of potholes
Hope this info helps

Hi Dave in Warsaw Poland at the moment for another week. It as been a very eventful break, might tell you about it when we meet up at the Elephant car meeting. looked at the Polish strongflex site and what luck 3 or 4 of their outlets are in Warsaw. With one I can catch a tram at the top of my street that will take me within walking distance. Trying to go tomorrow will let you know the out come I.e. in stock. Flying Ryan air so large Barchetta parts are a no, no but did manage to buy a right side front indicator for £8 this week. As rare as hen's teeth even over here

Think "Gina" suits her! Great to hear she's in good hands and being cherished.I bought her for £3500 in 2009, fitted the Borbet wheels as unfortunately I never had the originals, and sold her for £4500 a year or so later. An appreciating classic!! I also had the timing belt and water pump changed. I've got a load of photos of her when in my ownership. If you'd like copies sent let me know. Also the link below shows the Scottish Italian Car and Bike Day 2010 and 59 secs in you can see "Gina" briefly. (Blink and you'll miss her!)
.

Do you have a photo of her as she is now? I'd be interested in seeing it.

Thank you.
