My Barchetta has given me a job to do over the winter months.
Had a small leak from the steering rack for most of this summer, but it is getting worse. Looking at the method of removal of the rack it looks a right pain, anyone done this? I haven't enquired yet if I can buy replacement seals or if its a case of replacing the complete unit. Your thoughts tips appreciated.

Thats an interesting problem Dave. When a vehicle has been in production for a few years, I often wonder whether the designers ever gave any thought to the concept of the future need to replace components! Whilst the Barchetta certainly isn't the worst, some tasks, such as the steering rack replacement seem a 'nightmare'. Hope it goes well mate! S

Thanks for the moral support Guys. It's not going to be a quick job as my garage is stuffed with more things than I really need, so space is an issue for me, but I'm in no rush so long as the Barchetta is ready for spring I will be happy.
In the mean time I'm booked in to Demon Tweeks, remap is on order and will be installed next Wednesday.����
