Hallo all. Yes, back with my annual plea of anyone know of a Stelvio green LE for sale anywhere in the UK. - this is the one with cream/biscuit leather and roof, steering wheel/gearknob insert. 500 made. A few sold in the UK back in 1998/1999. Off the few, haven't seen one in the UK for sale for years, albeit only looking on and off.

Such as this one -

There is a Riviera on autotrader/ebay, been on a while at £5999, just dropeed by £1k. Looks good but anyone know it? And yes, I know it isn't green!
cheers

Cheers - yep done the trawl of the european ones! And the exchange rate good just now . Not convinced about being able to change the headlamps for the UK though, and I can't see stickies working on it, although happy to be put right on that....

Love your determination, lanciaman - keep on with your quest!

And while deferred gratification is an admirable quality, don't let your love of the Stelvio Green deny you the unbridled joy of owning and driving a B. They are still cheap as chips, so why not accept second-best for the time being, buy one in another colour (and here I must put in a word for the silver/red roof/red leather combo!) and then you can enjoy having a second-best B while pursuing your quest for The Precious!

Cheers for that! There is that quite nice looking blue Riviera on ebay/autotrader......and black leather is usually a better idea than cream.

But - and shakes his rattle - I want a green one!!!

And yes, I am a 47 year old child....

Silver and red is a nice combo admittedly.

That blue Riviera looks lovely, although personally I don't like the shiny centre console and 3rd brake light - and didn't Rivieras have the stitched leather dash too?

Lowish mileage Bs seem to be holding their values up very well these days, too - I only paid £3k for mine with 40k on the clock, but that was 9 years ago... (Best £3k I ever spent. :D)

Is this one on EBay in Stelvio Green? The green looks darker than I'd remembered (and not an LE, obviously)

I'm like you, not that keen on the shiny console and hate the 3rd brakelight (baboons arse brakelight).

Yep, they do seem to be holding their value, although some of the asking prces are getting a bit mental - too mental apparently cos none of them seem to be selling. I had the hallowed green LE around 12 years ago, and a black Riviera perhaps 6 years ago. Sold both for probably less than they may be worth now.

The one on ebay is the "normal" green - Stelvio is greener and non metallic - if anyone lives near norther Portugal / Spain, this looks a cracker...

Hmm, Gijon ... cheap Ryanair flight to Santander, short bus ride along the A-8, lovely drive all the way back to the UK, with a detour to the fabulous Picos de Europa en route.

Go on, you know you want to!

Is that the Rolls Royce style privacy rear window?! :D

Must be, its the second one of that size I've seen in Poland.
When I joined the Polish Barchetta club and asked the question does any one have one for sale I was immediately warned off buying one and told to buy one from Germany.

In that case....won't be going to Poland - which otherwise is an ace place for anyone who has never been!

Still not convinced about the mini rear window though.....

Hi, new to the forum, not sure if your still looking, but i have a uk barchetta stelvio green le for sale, pm me if interested, thanks Rob

Hi Chaps. Contact has indeed been made and photos sent. Robert seems a nice chap. Up front says he is a trader and this Stelvio LE was traded in at a local dealer and he bought it from them (why on earth would anyone trade it in!).

Anyway, around 50k miles, history etc. Looks very good in the pics (but then just about everything does). Non air con model - which is not an issue.

What do folk on here think it's worth, assuming it is very very good?

Anyone in the Colchester area with nothing better to do than go and take a squint at it and report back? I would pay any costs.....

I would obviously do that myself but am 500 miles away.

cheers
Lindsay

Should have said, it has aftermarket wheels on it, multifitment things. Look ok but not originals.
