I'm wondering what he got for the trade in? Odd to me that a B owner would trade the car, but then no idea. The suspicious side of me thinks something wrong so trading it was easier, but then there can be good reasons!

Sometimes....

Difficult to value as it's so dependent on condition, but the mileage is pretty low and there's a rarity factor to consider (although Stelvio is a bit of a marmite colour, so that works both ways...).

If the bodywork's undented, the paintwork and hood are in good nick, the rear wheel arches & floor pan are free of the demon rust, the engine & gearbox work well with no rattles, noises off or oil leaks, and it has a solid history (fsh, a sheaf of invoices/old MOTs, a recent MOT with no scary advisories, new cam belt, and fewer than, say, 5 owners), I reckon it might be worth between £4-5k.

But I'm a tight b&stard.

B's are worth quite a bit of money arent they ... I wish i could keep mine.. already reluctant to sell but the more threads i read here the more i want to keep it and it seems like a good investment if i did her up to showroom specs T_T

So why sell?

Just need money :/ also buying a bike for work reasons so I need some money for that too -_-

I love the B though, if I didn't need money I'd probably save for a year and have it completely done over so it looks brand new. B's drive awesome!

Off the boil I must be, only saw that a few days after the ad posted. Have contacted the seller to get the photos sent to see what the MOT sheet says. Could be a fair bit of work and rarely does buying the cheap car to do up make financial sense at the end of the day, but might be fun to have a go.

I bottled with the other one 2 or 3 months ago. Top top money and a couple of things weren't quite right for me to justify it.

Complicated now by the fact I have just bought a mate out of his share of a Mercedes w124 cabriolet which we have just refurbished... Will I ever learn? No......
