Hi guys,

Needing some advise.
If you knew of a whole barchetta going to the scrap and could keep any parts you wanted (prior to it being scraped) for later usage on your personal barchetta, what would you keep ?

Cannot keep the whole vehicle due to a lack of space but could keep a whole lot of parts in case I would need it in future.

So which parts would you choose to keep ?

Best regards

When I had a similar chance I had all the lights front and back. The doors because I wanted to have the electric wind up mechanism. Also had the wiper motor and linkage. Didn't have any other parts as the front bumper was to damaged. Living in Poland on and off helps spares are so much easier to come by new and second hand.

Yep the front bumper is also damaged. The baclk lights are not broken but one can see they are faded and fragile.
What about in the engine compartment?

Rubber seals don´t look too bad actually, yes think we´ll add them to the list. Cables added as well. Now there is something I would not have thought off.
Any more let us know please please.
Thanks guys

Whole instrument cluster.
All Rubber seal, including windscreen
Fuel Filler Flap/Door and cap
Leather Steering wheel & gear knop & gaiter

All engine sensors, MAF, etc.

ECU, keycode unit, keys, locks

Door handle.

Basically strip out/off anything that could fail and need replacing.

Go for the small size/volume high cost items.

Anything that you couldn't find on a Marea 1.8 16V or Punto 55 SX for 20p on eBay.

Did you scrap the car already? I would be interested to buy some parts, like right front turn signal lamp, right fog light cover plate etc.
