Hi all I have a fiat ducato 2.8jtd motorhome 2004 the reversing light and sensors have now started to sometimes work and sometimes not, the car electrician fitted a new gearbox sensor/switch and it is still playing up. He has suggested that the linkage in the gear box is worn and not operating the switch properly the engine has only done 13,000 miles so I find that theory hard to take in he also said to check the oil level in the gearbox, would that make a difference? any help with this problem would be much appreciated, cheers, peter.

Hi Peter,
I can't help much, other than to agree the mileage is low for it to be a wear problem. You are on the Barchetta sections of the Fiat Forum and you may get more response from the 'other Fiats' section.

Hi, apologies for the late reply. Go to the home page by scrolling to the top of the page and touch the Fiat cars in the address line to go to the home page. Then scroll down the page through all the different forum sections until you get to other Fiats section.
