Anybody know what the wattage on the HID bulbs should be? 35w or 55w? I have a HID conversion kit from 2007/2008 (the same as in LRB's guide), if that matters.

Hi KC3. I'm barely here any longer so I didn't notice your answer . I did end up getting 55w ones, but I've yet to fit them as they seem nigh on impossible to change  I don't remember how on earth I managed changing them in the first place, but I suspect I had the wheels etc. off - which seems like an utter hassle...

I would never go higher than 35w on xenon because of the heat it gives off.
35w is more than bright enough.

When I need to change them my wheels and wheel arches need to come off also(n)

Well, I already have the 55ws now, so I'll go with them for now... ;) Does the wheel arch need to come off on both sides to change the bulbs? The passanger side looks like the harder one to access (as far as I can remember).

Seems my ballast is knackered so I need to buy a new HID kit :-( Can anyone recommend a kit from, say, eBay? I have no idea whether I need two or one ballast. Currently I have one on the driver's side.
