Hi folks. Just joined the community..

I am based in Scotland…not easy to find a Barchetta to buy..or even look at! I am keen on buying, but am wondering if I am OK to fit in one. I am 6-4. \

Any views? Maybe my concern is misplaced.

Thanks

Chris

Hi, I only rececntly joined and have been impressed with the friendly and helpful approach to all queries. So a welcome from a newbie. You won't have a problem with the roof down and I don't think it will be a problem with it raised, but if you can find someone close who will let you try the seating out!
Hopefully someone who is also 6ft 4"will chime in.

6ft4" - hi shorty! I am 6ft5" and don't have a problem . I have covered massive distances in my B but do need a leg stretch after 3 hours of driving but then that applies to any type of car I am using. Go for it, if you get a decent one you will not regret it. Huge value for money and loads of fun.

Thanks everyone-and sorry for delay in replying, been away.

Sounds like I'll fit! Good news!

I am based in Edinburgh. Have been searching on the web for a low mileage model- it is clear there (a) are a scarce animal and (b) scarcer still north of the border!

I'm a real car novice- I take it there are local ( ie Scottish) garages good at servicing etc. I notice a lot of comments ( from English owners) re DTR sports cars.

The search continues...and ideas welcome!

Thanks

Chris

I see reference to numbers of keys and the "important red key": can someone explain the significance( or not) of the red key?
Thanks folks
Chris
