As I leave my Barchetta parked down with the top down a lot, I am thinking of removing the radio, even though it is just the standard dealer fit Fiat tape affair.

What I want to know is there a factory supplied blanking plate that is the correct shape to fill the curved hole, or even a storage box? Better still, if anyone has one for sale I'd be very interested.

Failing that, is there a bezel out there that converts from the curved hole to a regular DIN shaped hole?

There must be a bezel kit as when I bought my car I supplied a Pioneer unit

to DTR to fit with the special Barchetta bits around it.

There is definitely a conversion plate as I took one out of my car to fit an original radio cassette. If I still have it and can find it, you are welcome to it! Steve

Thanks all for the imput and Bumble for trying to find your old plate. I have sourced an original Fiat plate with curved front to match the contours of the centre console only problem its silver but I will paint it black and then I am going to bond a generic cubby hole box behind it to make a very neat factory looking solution!
