Hi - as promised a couple of pix of my Barchetta - taken this morning before her full service and good once over - I hope I wont have a lot of work to shell out for already....
Her name is Margarita II as my first ever car was a LHD Blue Honda Civic car in France back in 1989 and she was named Margarita by my then Spanish Girlfriend and it just seems right somehow...

Well I thought she was a beauty and hence why I fell in love with her...
Good news is that full service showed up only a couple of washer pipes needed and soon I'll need some new front tyres but apart from that she is all ok.
She has done 80k so close up has a few blemishes but overall good. I have bought some roll bars with wind diffuser to fit and also some replacement headlights as one is cracked and they look a bit foggy... I may look at a respray in a year or two...but a touch up May all be that is needed.

I'm definitely up for that - soon as it's nice enough to put the top down me thinks and as long as I can drive cross country....

What? You haven't lived, my old son!

Tequila, Cointreau and lime juice - and salt on the rim of the glass, if you're a purist.

Best served really, really cold, by a dusky maiden (naturally), overlooking the bluest ocean, at the end of a hot & steamy caribbean day. :)

I shall have to give one a try sometime -except if I'm driving my own Margarita. I'm generally more of a rum or Cuba Libre man myself...

Here are a couple more pics this time taken with the roof down yesterday. I took advantage of the nice sunny day to give her a damn good thrashing.,,ImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1392385856.609977.jpgImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1392385873.337772.jpgImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1392385890.930786.jpgImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1392385904.182664.jpg

Margarita had an argument with a pheasant. The pheasant lost but left its mark.....

I stopped straight away and when I saw the damage I went back and ran over the pheasant several times to make sure the b'stard was definitely dead!!!

Yup, I have the car booked in on Thursday as I'm having two new headlights fitted and they said that they could knock it out no problem.
I'm also getting the front touched up on Friday as well as there are quite a few small scratches and stone chips needing fixed.

Unless it was pheasant pancake then there was not much left to eat....
