I have dropped my window winding switch into the cover in which it is housed - I've probably broken a clip on the switch. How do I remove the cover which houses the gear lever? I have removed the screw holding the ashtray, but cannot see any fixing clips to remove the cover itself. Help please!

Many thanks KC3 - obviously I couldn't find any screws or clips because they are hidden under the gear lever boot - I'll have a go in the morning. I pray the clip on the window switch isn't broken because it is such a mission to import small things like that. Thank you for that thread! - Regards from South Africa where I have the only Barchetta in the country, maybe in Africa!
:)

I finally got the clips loose - they were very strong and required a lot of pressure and leverage to 'get past' the clip teeth. I used a thin metal strip around the plastic edge so as not to damage it, but was astonished at how much force I had to use to loosen them. Clearly they've never been loosened before. The light switch clip had broken, so epoxied it in place again. Q.E.D.
